What is Earth Day?

Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It aims to raise the public's awareness of existing environmental problems, and mobilize the public to participate in the environmental protection movement, so as to improve the overall environment of the earth through green and low-carbon life.

First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EarthDay.org (formerly Earth Day Network) including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries. The official theme for 2022 is Invest In Our Planet and features five primary programs: The Great Global Cleanup, Sustainable Fashion, Climate and Environmental Literacy, Canopy Project, Food and Environment, and the Global Earth Challenge.

What did we do?

Participated in the carbon neutralization movement of Asian Games become a carbon neutral actor in the Asian Games；

Contributed to the "100 Million Shuttle Trees" project,which has persisted for 60 months as of April this year;

Advocate a green lifestyle, practice the concept of green meetings, and contribute your own modest efforts.
